This is actually a really nice table. It's very solid and the wood has a great feel to it. The leaf on each side was a little tricky to get on, and the gap doesn't close all the way when extended - though that's barely noticeable. I was a little disappointed to see rather large writing underneath the table in black magic marker. Not that anyone will ever see that, but when you pay a decent amount of money for a piece of furniture, you'd hope they could find another area to write other than on the product itself. Other than that small complaint though, I really love this table.

We recently downsized and I was searching for the right size table for a smaller kitchen that would fit in front of a window. This 40" drop-leaf table was just what I wanted! It was in perfect hape and not difficult to assemble. I would highly recommend this product to friends and family.
