This worked great for Thanksgiving. It cooked our Turkey in half the time a regular oven would take, leaving the meat moist.
The "burn in" only took about an hour, not a big deal.
The lid and roaster pan are coated metal, which lifts out for easy cleaning.

This cooker does exactly what it's supposed to do. Although, I'm not quite sure the cookwell is porcelain, as it feels differntly from my slow cooker that has a porcelain cookwell. I'll look more into it, but for now, I have to say this is a great roaster.
