This Speck Fit case is well fitting and a nice finish that feels good in the hand and is just my style, however, it has a glaring design flaw. My immediate impression within 1 minute putting this case on my new iPod... I'm sorry that I bought it, and actually strongly recommend against purchasing it.
The case snaps together with a click on the top-left, bottom-left, and bottom-right corners. With the exception of the bottom-right corner, the whole right side and top-right corner will not close because the top-right corner doesn't have the same click together design. It will need a touch of glue in a couple of spots to make it work. If you don't want to use glue, I don't recommend this case for the iPod Touch 4th Gen. There are other nice cases available. I would really like this case if I didn't have to "fix" it. As much as I like it's fit and finish, I do regret purchasing it.
In my case, it is not worth it to return it, because I would only get back half the money spent (but that's another story best left to the seller's feedback). I'll just keep it and use a bit of glue, though I shouldn't have to.
Speck just should not have released this case to the public... it wasn't ready. Also, for this price-point, they really should include clear screen covers like some of their competitors do.
Note: this review applies only to the iPod 4th gen case, and may not apply to the same design for other iPod & iPhone models). This review is not about Amazon, nor is it really not about Speck in general. Speck generally makes good stuff, but this one design is flawed.
